Come back to exactly where you left.

Leaving a mode saves its apps, open files and front pages, plus a short note on what you were doing. Come back and it’s one click away.

Come back to a mode and the card offers to restore it, with a note on what you were doing.

The note is written on your Mac from the last window titles you had open, so “Where was I?” has a real answer: “Finish the pricing page and send it to Maya for review.”

When you return to the mode, a card offers the restore. Nothing reopens on its own.

A session recap appears when you leave a mode after two minutes or more: “47 min in Writing · 3 drifts stopped · 1,240 words.”

See it work.

Leave a mode and a recap shows your time and the drifts you stopped.
