Get HeyDock.
Version 0.1.3, for Macs with Apple silicon on macOS 26 or later.
HeyDock has no free trial: it starts once you activate a licence key, which arrives by email when you buy. If it isn’t for you, there’s a 7-day refund.
Install it.
- Open HeyDock.dmg, drag HeyDock to Applications, and open it.
- macOS says it can’t check HeyDock for malware, because HeyDock is signed but not notarized. Click Done.
- Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to HeyDock. Confirm with your password or Touch ID.
- Paste your licence key, pick two or three modes, and you’re done.
You only do this once. Updates come through Check for Updates… and install without asking again. The full guide, with what each permission is for, is in Install HeyDock.
