Install HeyDock on your Mac

Download HeyDock, move it to Applications, get past the first-launch warning and grant the one permission you need on day one.

Updated

HeyDock needs a Mac with Apple silicon on macOS 26 or later.

Download and move it

  1. Download HeyDock.dmg from the download page.
  2. Open it and drag HeyDock to Applications.
  3. Open HeyDock from Applications.

The first-launch warning

HeyDock is signed with an Apple Development certificate but not notarized, so the first time you open it macOS says it can’t check it for malware. Click Done, then follow Open HeyDock with Open Anyway. You only do this once: updates install without asking again.

Activate and pick your modes

HeyDock starts once a licence is activated. Paste the key from your receipt email (see Activate your licence key), then pick two or three mode templates. HeyDock fills them with apps you already have.

Permissions, only when needed

HeyDock asks for nothing on day one. Accessibility, Full Disk Access, Screen Recording, Calendars and Reminders are each asked for only when you turn on something that needs them. What each permission is for.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] with your macOS version and HeyDock version, or see Support.
