Most of us switch apps hundreds of times a day, and focus apps tend to be either too easy to switch off or so strict we uninstall them. macOS Focus filters notifications by app, not by what you’re working on.
HeyDock turns the Dock into a workspace that changes with your task. Each mode shows only what it needs. During Focus, drifting gets a pause instead of a wall. Messages wait until you’re done, and coming back to a mode brings back where you were.
Principles.
- Friction, not walls. Never trap you; make drifting a choice.
- Private by default. The AI runs on your Mac. There is no HeyDock server.
- Feels like it belongs. Native, fast and light: under 1% CPU at idle.
- Pay once. No subscription for things that run on your own Mac.
